Chelsea Klaiman is an empathetic and devoted Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Miami, Florida. She is committed to providing a safe space for her clients to explore their emotions and experiences. Chelsea’s approach is warm and accepting, fostering a therapeutic relationship that encourages individuals to discover insights into patterns that no longer serve them and to bring their most authentic selves to the forefront. Chelsea has a diverse background in the mental health field, having completed internships at a psychiatric hospital and a recovery and detox center for substance abuse. Currently, she practices as a therapist at a treatment center specializing in OCD, anxiety, depression, and other co-occurring disorders. Her experience includes both group and individual therapy, working with adolescents and adults. Chelsea’s specialty lies in working with patients with OCD, utilizing Exposure Response Therapy (ERT) as a key treatment modality. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to tailor her approach to each client’s specific needs. Chelsea has experience working with individuals in different levels of care: partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, residential care, community mental health, and private practice settings. Chelsea’s mantra encapsulates her dedication: “My passion lies in guiding individuals to their fullest potential and helping them find more meaning in their life. By using evidence-based treatment modalities, I aim to empower my clients to overcome challenges, cultivate resilience, and achieve personal growth.” Chelsea received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Forensic Science from the University of Central Florida. She then obtained her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Her integrative approach to therapy is informed by her diverse experiences and her belief that each person has unique strengths and insights that can be harnessed for personal growth. Outside of her professional life, Chelsea enjoys exercising, playing with her bernadoodle, Shai, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and exploring new interests and hobbies. She also enjoys practicing mindfulness, which she believes enhances her personal growth and well-being, ultimately allowing her to feel more present in her everyday life. Chelsea Klaiman is committed to helping her clients navigate their mental health journeys with compassion, expertise, and a collaborative spirit. She looks forward to continuing her work at the Counseling Center Group, where she can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those she serves.
