Katelyn is a Licensed Associate Counselor who is dedicated to employing
evidence-based practices rooted in a person-centered approach to help
clients increase self-awareness and develop new skills. She collaborates with
clients to identify meaningful goals, creates a warm and welcoming space for
clients of all walks of life, and is passionate about helping clients live a life
they love.
Katelyn especially enjoys working with clients living with the effects of
traumatic experiences, disordered eating, troubled relationships, emotional
dysregulation, and OCD. Katelyn is passionate about working with the
LGBTQIA+ community and prioritizes cultural sensitivity in her work.
Katelyn earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Eastern
University. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(TF-CBT) and has training in EMDR, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS),
and the Gottman Method for couple’s therapy. Prior to her graduate program,
Katelyn worked in the health and fitness industry coaching clients through
obstacles to healthy living. Placing a high value on the connection between
mental and physical wellness, Katelyn helps clients explore the impacts of
thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and somatic experiences.
Katelyn appreciates the importance of developing trust and rapport with a
therapist, and she is always happy to conduct a complementary consultation
with interested clients!
